IHT recently completed a rebuild of its mainline, which effectively transferred and consolidated production from two machines to one, thus improving efficiency and reducing costs. It also provides flexibility in scheduling to enable the ideal choice in equipment selection for shop order scheduling. The upgraded mainline auto loads/unloads at the heater, and unloads directly to the washing system, resulting in less material handling.
Along with labor savings, the benefit to IHT customers not only is an increase in capacity but also with scheduling. Our process is a constant balance of juggling the use of the proper equipment and operators. With the added capacity and reduction of labor hours (from 2.5 to 1), IHT has become more flexible to serve all customers.
