Construction was recently finished on a complete teardown and re-build of the IHT Quality Lab. The Lab’s size increased from 280 square feet to 480 sq. ft., and upgrades included new counter tops, work surfaces, floors and sinks, and improved lighting and air-conditioning. Also added was a new metallurgical microscope that increases magnification capability from 400 to 1000 times and provides the capability to take and transfer pictures electronically.
